ICC World Cup Afghanistan vs Bangladesh - Dharamshala

Bangladesh bowlers looked unstoppable against Afghanistan and bowled them all out for just 156. Shakib Al Hasan, Mehidy Hasan, and Shoriful Islam never allowed Afghani batters to free their arms and always kept them in control. Except for the openers, no other Afghanistan batsmen thwarted the Bangla bowlers. Bangladesh comfortably chased the target and gained much-needed confidence to go ahead in the tournament. Mehidy Hasan shined while chasing and made a brilliant half-century. Bangladesh will face England on Tuesday, and Afghanistan will lock horns with the host India on Wednesday.

ICC World Cup 2023 South Africa vs Sri Lanka - Delhi

It rained fours and sixes in the Indian capital city. South African batters unleashed their beast mode against Sri Lanka, which boasts a quality bowling attack. Three centuries from the Proteas exemplify how they dominated the Lankan bowlers. With Quinton De Kock, Rassie Van der Dussen, and Aiden Markram centuries, the Safari team put a mammoth 428 in their 50 overs. Markram smashed the quickest 100 in just 49 balls and became the fastest centurion in the ODI World Cup events. Sri Lankan bowlers had no clue where and how to bowl as they massacred each ball to the fence.

In reply, Sri Lanka worked hard but only managed to make 326 and lost by 102 runs. Kusal Mendis was in the zone and made a quick 76 in 42 balls but got trapped by Rabada. Dasun Shanaka and Charith Asalanka raised hopes, but the total was too much to chase. The Proteas will clash with Australia on Thursday and Sri Lanka will face Pakistan in its next encounter.
